NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Citi today announced that James Kelly has joined its Prime Finance Group, enhancing Prime Finance’s capital introductions capabilities for its hedge fund client base. Mr. Kelly joins Citi as Director and Pensions Specialist within Prime Finance’s Capital Introductions Group.
Mr. Kelly was previously at Morgan Stanley where he initiated and developed their Pension Solutions Group and most recently served as Head of Transition Management in the Americas, covering pension funds. At Citi, Mr. Kelly will be based in New York and will report to Elizabeth Neely, U.S. Head of Capital Introductions.
“As more pension funds move directly into alternative investments, most specifically hedge funds, it is critical to have a keen understanding of these allocators and their individual investment objectives and needs.” Ms. Neely said. “Jim’s experience and deep relationships within the pension community will play a vital role for Citi and help bridge the gap between this increasingly important investor segment and the hedge fund clients who serve them.”
