The Canadian regulatory authority (Health Canada) has approved Sublinox for treatment of insomnia. Sublinox is a new and patented sublingual product with the well known substance zolpidem. The product will be commercialized by the joint venture between Meda and Valeant (Meda Valeant Pharma Canada Inc.). Sublinox launch is expected to begin during the fourth quarter of 2011.
