SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Horsley Bridge Partners today announced that Du Chai will join the firm as Managing Director and a member of the investment team. Du has spent the past ten years as Managing Director – Private Investments & Real Assets at Northwestern University. At Northwestern, he co-managed over $2.5 billion in alternative assets, including venture capital and buyout fund investments, and was integral in developing Northwestern’s private equity emerging markets strategy, specifically in China.

Du Chai joined Northwestern University in 2001 after obtaining an MBA from Kellogg School of Management and a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern. Du also spent five years at J.P. Morgan & Company.
