Cathay Pacific Airways’ Nearing Arrival Brings Its Popular “All Asia Pass” to Chicago

Travel to Hong Kong plus Two Other Cities in Asia for US$1,329 roundtrip

CHICAGO--()--Cathay Pacific Airways’ pending arrival in Chicago on Sept. 1, 2011 means more opportunities in Asia for area businesses and residents thanks to the Hong Kong carrier’s extensive route network.

One of the most popular products in the airline’s wide array of offers is its All Asia Pass that provides travel to Hong Kong and two other cities in Asia over a period of 21 days for one low fare. To celebrate its launch in Chicago, Cathay Pacific is offering the All Asia Pass to Chicagoans for an introductory price of US$1,329 roundtrip. The cost includes taxes, fees and fuel surcharges.

The All Asia Pass includes travel to Hong Kong plus any two of the following 39 cities:

The introductory offer of US$1,329 for Chicagoans is valid for All Asia Passes booked and purchased now through July 31, 2011 only. The price increases to US$1,880 on Aug. 1, 2011.

The US$1,329 price includes economy class travel with a departure starting in Chicago on Flight CX807 and return on Flight CX806. Outbound and inbound travel to Chicago must be on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Travel Thursday through Sunday is permitted for an additional US$100 each way.

Travel may commence as early as Sept. 1, 2011. All travel must begin by Nov. 29, 2011 and be completed by Dec. 8, 2011. The 21-day travel window from date of departure may be extended to 30 days for an additional US$300 or to 90 days for an additional US$500.

For the US$1,329 All Asia Pass, travel must be booked in “S” class. Seats may be limited. Neither Asia Miles nor AAdvantage™ Miles accrue on this fare. Other restrictions may apply.

Cathay Pacific will launch service to Chicago using a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Departing out of Terminal 5 at O’Hare International Airport, Flight CX807 will depart Chicago each day at 3:25 p.m. Central time and arrive in Hong Kong at 8 p.m. local the next day. Return service via CX806 will depart Hong Kong daily at 11:45 a.m. local and arrive Chicago at 1:45 p.m. Central time.
