Greenberg Traurig Expands its Energy Practice With the Addition of Enid L. Veron

NEW YORK--()--The international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP announced that Enid L. Veron has joined its New York City and Washington, D.C. offices as a shareholder in the Energy & Natural Resources Practice. Previously, Veron was a partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and most recently at Hunton & Williams LLP.

Veron’s practice focuses on project finance, especially in the energy sector with a particular emphasis on alternative energy. She provides counsel on the development of complex and international renewable energy facilities and advises sponsors, lenders and issuers on a wide range of electric power and other infrastructure transactions.

“Enid brings to us more than 25 years of experience in both traditional and alternative energy financings and diverse infrastructure development projects throughout the world. We are confident she will both complement and enhance our capabilities in these areas that are of ever increasing importance to our clients,” said Richard A. Rosenbaum, Greenberg Traurig’s Chief Executive Officer. “We are pleased to have someone with Enid's reputation join the firm.”

A veteran in the energy space, Veron strengthens Greenberg Traurig’s energy and project finance capabilities in the New York market. Her arrival will help connect the firm’s resources in this sector in Texas, California, Washington, D.C., Florida, and elsewhere throughout the United States and internationally.

“We’re excited to have Enid on the team,” said Doug Atnipp, co-chair of the firm’s national Energy and Natural Resources Practice. “Her work helping finance international energy facilities will allow our clients to establish and maintain their global presence in the energy sector.”

Veron holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, a Ph.D. from New York University, and an M.A. and B.A. from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York.
