3i-MIND to Discuss Open Source Tools at Microsoft Worldwide Public Safety Symposium

3i-MIND’s Vice President of Global Agency Practice, John Gill, to Discuss Benefits of OSINT Intelligence Tools in Improving Public Safety

REDMOND, Wash.--()--How can law enforcement and public safety teams prepare for unforeseen threats in an increasingly global and technologically advanced world? How can agencies secure the technology, talent and skills required to navigate today’s open source environment? John Gill, VP of Global Agency Practice at 3i-MIND and former White House Chief Security Officer, will offer strategies for using open source intelligence tools at the Microsoft Worldwide Public Safety Symposium today at 1:45 p.m. PST. 3i-MIND is a gold sponsor of the event and will demo OpenMIND, its OSINT solution developed specifically for intelligence and law enforcement agencies. OpenMIND allows agencies to automatically and lawfully collect, process and analyze volumes of real-time data in order to spot suspicious patterns, connections and leads, displaying data in an intuitive, user-friendly, graphical interface.

In addition to OpenMIND, 3i-MIND will showcase its ReadyMIND and MasterMIND software throughout the symposium, March 23–24, at Booth #6.

With 27 years of experience in the law enforcement and security industries, John Gill is a trusted authority in the emerging field of threat management. As the former Chief Security Officer for the Executive Office of the U.S. President, Gill led the development, implementation and management of security policies and programs for the White House. Prior to that post, Gill held senior-level positions with the U.S. Secret Service where he was the Attaché of the Paris Field Office.

Gill will elaborate on advancements in OSINT technology during the breakout track, “Securing & Streamlining Public Safety Administration, Operations and Mobility.” He will discuss how public safety teams can make sense of vast amounts of open-source data to help plan and prepare for both natural and manmade threats. Additional information on the conference and each session is available here.
