VoiceVault Releases New VoiceVault Fusion Voice Biometric Engine

VoiceVault, the specialist provider of voice-based biometric identity verification solutions and services, today announced the launch of a major new release of its core biometric product, VoiceVault Fusion

LONDON--()--VoiceVault has released VoiceVault Fusion, the latest version of its award winning voice biometric product. Fusion sees VoiceVault introduce a comprehensive upgrade to its core biometric capability. The release delivers an all new engine system comprising both text independent and text dependent engines.

The new VoiceVault Fusion biometric system uses two new (and completely separate) engines that operate together and symbiotically in a way that enables VoiceVault to provide voice biometric technology with a whole range of new and improved verification modes, with significant increases in accuracy and performance. The benefits are that Fusion now provides new capabilities that are highly focussed on the needs of businesses using voice biometrics in either on premise, hosted, smartphone and tablet environments.

Being able to use the two engines together and combining their individual results provides an incredible 'the sum is greater than the parts' accuracy boost. The already world-beating accuracy has been increased enormously - so fewer bad guys will get in and fewer good guys will be rejected. That translates to better security, better user experience and lower costs.

The new engine system means that VoiceVault can provide voice biometric identity verification solutions based on an even wider range of verification modes. These include:

  • Challenge response where the user is prompted to say specific words or phrases
  • Text prompted where the user is prompted to provide some speech but is not prompted for the actual words or phrase required
  • Conversational speech where what the user says is largely unpredictable.

This flexibility and the fact that all of the modes can be adapted to suit the application, means that VoiceVault is able to maximises its ability to integrate into business processes whether they are IVR call flows or smartphone / tablet applications. Words, digits, dates, phrases - VoiceVault supports them all.

Lee Cottle, VoiceVault’s Chief Operating Officer says "We're very excited in launching the Fusion product. Being able to offer such a wide variety of different ways of implementing our voice biometric technology means that we have a huge amount of flexibility in meeting business needs. It reinforces our view that the technology is maturing and adoption of voice biometrics will be driven by flexibility in deployment options, as this is vital for the customer experience. We're also very proud of the unrivalled levels of accuracy and performance that we continue to improve on with every release".
