LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BreitBurn Energy Partners L.P. (the “Partnership”) (NASDAQ:BBEP) announced today that it has extended the expiration date for its previously announced exchange offer relating to its outstanding $305,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 8.625% Senior Notes due 2020 (the “Notes”), which commenced on February 17, 2011.
The exchange offer, which was initially scheduled to expire at 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on March 21, 2011, has been extended until 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Holders of Notes previously tendered for exchange shall have the right to withdraw tenders of Notes at any time prior to the expiration of the exchange offer. As of March 21, 2011, holders of $302,250,000, or 99.1%, of the outstanding principal amount of the Notes have tendered their notes for exchange.
