Vindicia Establishes UK Operations

Company taps accomplished executive Adrian Jenkins to head European operations in response to pan-European client demand

LONDON--()--Vindicia, a leading provider of SaaS billing solutions that help digital leaders optimise customer retention and acquisition through integrated marketing best practices, today announced it has opened a London office to capitalise on widespread pan-European demand for its services. The company also announced it has appointed Adrian Jenkins to lead its European operations. Jenkins brings to the position a track record of successfully communicating the value proposition of software companies, attracting and engaging partners and clients, and growing share of market.

Named Vice President for Europe by Vindicia, Jenkins most recently held the position of Senior Sales Director, Western Continental Europe at Oracle. Prior to that he held senior sales positions at Portal Software. Jenkins will act as the in-region executive responsible for growing Vindicia’s presence and supporting its existing European clients across all areas of the company’s operations.

Today’s announcements come on the heels of Vindicia unveiling its latest digital offering, Vindicia CashBox™ StoreFront. Designed to meet the requirements of online marketers, CashBox StoreFront streamlines how digital merchants define new products, create promotions and special offers, and manage virtual catalogs. Supporting a wide range of business models from subscriptions to microtransactions, with virtual currency support to one-time offers, CashBox StoreFront enables marketers to reach a global audience immediately.

Vindicia execs to address Guardian Changing Media Summit

Vindicia co-founder and CEO Gene Hoffman and Senior Vice President of Marketing Sanjay Sarathy will both be featured speakers at The Guardian newspaper’s Changing Media Summit 2011 in London later this week, March 23 and 24. A link to the full agenda, including an overview of the March 24 debate, can be found here. The Guardian has also posted a video preview of Hoffman’s remarks on the conference site.

Establishment of a UK office underscores Vindicia’s rapid global growth as the company responds to robust global demand for its services. Billing in every global region worldwide, including throughout Europe, end users outside of the US account for nearly 25% of the transactions processed through CashBox. Vindicia enables clients to transact in local currency, send communications in local languages and accept payment types popular in a particular geography, such as Maestro in the UK and European Direct Debit/ELV in Germany and Austria. Vindicia’s solutions also provide its digital merchants with the critical ability to correctly calculate and apply any required in-region sales taxes.

The London office announced today will enhance Vindicia’s support of its existing UK clients – including the popular London-based social multi-player game company Mind Candy – while enabling it to scale to meet additional demand. Initially, the London office will serve as Vindicia’s base of operations for customers throughout Europe; later in 2011 the company expects to begin to introduce additional European offices.

“We have always envisioned Vindicia as a marketing asset for digital merchants around the world,” says Hoffman. “Our team’s experience with global clients before we founded Vindicia, as well as our experience with global clients since the inception of Vindicia, reinforce our belief that our client success in the US is transferable to clients around the world. Establishing a UK and European base of operations in London, led by a talented and experienced executive like Adrian will enable us to take this success to the next level. We look forward to his contributions toward this critical area of our company’s growth strategy.”
