SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--3Crowd Technologies, the services company that is the future of content delivery, today announced enhancements to its technology staff to support growth of CrowdDirector, as well as new infrastructure applications. The company has appointed Ronn Brashear as Vice President of Engineering and Grégoire Villain as Director of Products.
As Vice President of Engineering, Brashear will provide vision, expertise and leadership to the technology research and development effort at 3Crowd. Prior to 3Crowd, Brashear served as director of engineering at OnLive, a cloud-gaming service, where he led the architecture and creation of the service infrastructure. Villain has also held various network engineering positions, ranging from engineering triple play networks for a DSL unbundling mass market ISP, as well as designing, and implementing network and hosting infrastructures for high volume content platforms.
“We believe that both Brashear and Villain have the right experience and forward-thinking approach to take our product strategy and development to the next level,” said Barrett Lyon, CEO and co-founder, 3Crowd Technologies. “We are excited about the direction of the company and the addition of two strong team members to help make our vision a reality.”
3Crowd has developed a series of management tools that give enterprises greater controls over content delivery and other cloud services, enabling them to use multiple services at once and thereby command new pricing and performance dynamics. 3Crowd's flagship product, CrowdDirector, enables content providers to configure and manage network resources, so they can be monitored, managed and deployed as a single service.
