Alibaba.com Launches Emergency Relief Effort for Japan

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--()--Alibaba.com, the world’s largest business e-commerce marketplace, is mobilizing its substantial online community to help victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami. Anyone interested in donating items for the relief effort may order them at cost from AliExpress.com, with the site providing free shipping to Japan.

Emergency items that can be donated and immediately dispatched include LED floodlights, waterproof flashlights, hand-held two-way radios, portable LED lamps, blankets, sleeping bags, tents, and radios. To send these much-needed relief supplies to Japan, donors are invited to go to AliExpress.com and select items from the “Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief” category. Cash donations to the Red Cross One Foundation can also be made from the site.
