BEAVERTON, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OpenSAF™, an open source community with projects focused on high availability (HA) middleware, today announced that growing demand for service availability and open source solutions within key industries is driving adoption and increasing the number of developers working with OpenSAF.
“2010 was an exciting year for the OpenSAF community, with our ecosystem increasing to more than 45 core developers due to several commercial deployments and interest from new market segments like Aerospace and Defense,” said Monica Hatlen, president, OpenSAF Foundation. “We plan to capitalize on this success in 2011, channeling our efforts toward educating developers and users about the business and technical benefits of developing and deploying OpenSAF technology.”
