FRANKFORT, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Kentucky Department of Revenue (DOR) has launched a new website, http://seata2011.net, to promote the 61st Annual Southeastern Association of Tax Administrators (SEATA) Conference to be held in Louisville June 26-29, 2011.
“The 2011 SEATA conference website provides a cost-effective and engaging way for us to share information about the conference with fellow SEATA members, conference vendors and guests,” said Thomas B. Miller, commissioner of the Kentucky DOR and SEATA president.
Conference organizers collaborated with Kentucky.gov, the official website of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, to create a “one-stop” destination on the internet where interested attendees can register online and access information about events, activities and speakers. The site is also designed so that prospective conference exhibitors and sponsors can obtain registration materials, fee schedules and important contact information. More than 300 representatives from 17 states are expected to attend the conference.
“Hosting the SEATA conference will have a positive economic impact in Kentucky as we welcome visitors from other states to our Commonwealth,” said Commissioner Miller. “I am honored to host my colleagues in Kentucky for our annual conference.”
