JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Stein Mart costume and sterling jewelry buyer, Lori Cassidy, was named to the 2011 Merchants Hall of Fame by Accessories magazine, a leading fashion trade publication and voice of the accessories industry. This is the first year the magazine has awarded this tribute to top merchants from all accessories classifications.
Cassidy, who has been buying for Stein Mart for 15 years, began her career as a belts, handbags and leather goods buyer. She then progressed to sweaters, dresses and related separates before becoming Stein Mart’s eye for costume and sterling jewelry. With 28 years of retail experience, Cassidy has prior experience buying for Dillard’s, Bueno Handbags, Sag Harbor and Upton’s.
