Integrated Environmental Technologies, Ltd. Forms Alliance with the Medical University of South Carolina to Demonstrate Efficacy and Cost Savings Associated with EcaFlo® Anolyte

LITTLE RIVER, S.C.--()--Integrated Environmental Technologies, Ltd. (OTCBB: IEVM) announced today that it has engaged in a demonstration project with the Medical University of South Carolina (“MUSC”), located in Charleston, South Carolina. The demonstration is scheduled to last sixty days, and will assess the efficacy of EcaFlo® fluid solutions as they may be used within the facilities of a medical university. It will also demonstrate the ease of use of IET’s EcaFlo® equipment for the production of its “green” cleaning and disinfecting solutions. MUSC becomes the first hospital of its kind to benefit from the less expensive, safe, “green,” EPA-registered hospital disinfectant, EcaFlo® Anolyte (EPA Registration No. 82341-1). It is anticipated that this demonstration will lead to the execution of a System Service Agreement with the University.

The Medical University of South Carolina, working closely with IET staff, will utilize EcaFlo® Anolyte in its gross anatomy labs, animal research labs and in the College of Dental Medicine. In addition, comparative use analyses will take place in MUSC’s Pharmacology Center and within the Bioengineering Department, as well as in general areas throughout the campus, such as public restrooms, lobbies and waiting areas.

Stuart A. Emmons, P.E., Director of Engineering and Research and Development for IET, commented, “We are confident that our EcaFlo® products will complement every organization’s GREEN initiatives, and will be beneficial to the health and safety of everyone exposed to public health organisms or to the traditional hazardous chemicals used to mitigate them. I believe that the combination of a medical facility with a university, such as found at the Medical University of South Carolina, is the perfect setting to showcase how EcaFlo® Anolyte will do a better job killing microorganisms, while saving money in these times of fiscal constraints.”

William E. (“Bill”) Prince, CEO and President of IET, stated, “We see a great value in working together with the Medical University of South Carolina to validate EcaFlo® Anolyte’s significant attributes. We know that EcaFlo® Anolyte is more effective than traditional disinfecting chemicals and we appreciate having MUSC as a partner to demonstrate that the time has come for a change from the expensive, hazardous chemicals they previously used, to IET’s environmentally responsible disinfecting and cleansing solutions. These EcaFlo® solutions can be depended upon to take care of even the most resistant bacteria, viruses and fungi, while saving the University a minimum of 30% of the costs currently associated with their sanitation and disinfection chemicals.”
