MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Landry & Kling Inc., pioneering specialists in incentive cruises and meetings at sea, announced that veteran meeting professional Jeanna Steele will serve as the company’s new Vice President of Operations. Steele has a solid background in the meetings and event planning industry, with corporate and association experience in event design, logistical planning, onsite management and implementation, as well as cruise ship meetings.
In her new role, Steele will oversee all aspects of Landry & Kling cruise program operations by providing leadership to the operations staff, while managing client and vendor relationships.
Prior to joining Landry & Kling full time, Steele helped plan and operate 20 events on cruise ships, including 14 full-ship charters. During her years as an independent meeting planner, Steele was engaged by Landry & Kling as the operations team leader overseeing three dockside ship charters for the 2009 Summit of the Americas and Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings in Trinidad and Tobago.

Steele began her career on the corporate side as Program Development Consultant and Meeting Planner for Colonial Supplemental Insurance. She also served as Events Manager for the national non-profit organization, Southern Institute on Children & Families. Most recently, Steele and her business partner founded Steele Thomas, LLC, where they handled both cruise and land-based events for the past five years.
