Image Entertainment and Entertainment One Extend Current Distribution Agreement Through 2015

Agreement Covers Canadian Rights Across All Media Platforms

CHATSWORTH, Calif. & TORONTO--()--Image Entertainment, Inc. (OTCQB: DISK) and Entertainment One (eOne) today announced the extension of their existing exclusive distribution agreement of Image product in Canada.

Over the last five years, eOne has distributed Image Entertainment properties in Canada, including theatrical, home entertainment, television and digital. The agreement covers Image’s vast library of film, television, lifestyle and music properties as well as the critically-acclaimed Criterion Collection and also includes any upcoming titles that may be acquired by Image Entertainment. The new agreement also includes titles from Image/Madacy Home Entertainment. The agreement was announced by Image Chairman and CEO, Ted Green and David Reckziegel, Co-president, Entertainment One Films Canada.

“The extension of this agreement is representative of our commitment to continue offering quality product across all platforms in Canada,” stated Green. “eOne has been a terrific distribution partner and we’re pleased to continue our arrangement with them.”

This new agreement will continue through 2015 and will include the recent acquisitions of Kenny Chesney’s concert as well as the recent theatrical release, Burning Palms, the Criterion Collection’s upcoming releases of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Jean-Luc Godard’s Breathless and Brazil. It also includes the company’s 2010 successful release of “The Twilight Zone,” the Jeff Dunham series of titles, the award-winning film Short Circuit and the long-awaited TV series featuring Boris Karloff entitled “Thriller.”
