Veteran Attorney to Launch Radio and Outreach Programs for South Florida
Looking for ways to further assist his community, attorney Carlos Reyes is launching both a weekly radio show and a community outreach program that starts with an educational seminar to help the people of South Florida learn their rights and options concerning home foreclosures in this time of economic uncertainty.
His radio show aims to offer advice and solutions to those affected by the housing crisis. “The Legal Hour: A Foreclosure Forum with Carlos Reyes” will be broadcast at 12pm every Thursday on 740AM WSBR Radio and simultaneously streamed at www.wsbrradio.com, with an online archive of all programs available at www.reyeslegal.com.
The educational outreach program StepUp Florida is opening with a seminar where Reyes, along with representatives of additional agencies and organizations, will seek to give assistance with finding jobs, food, financial planning and health care-- including Medicare/Social Security Disability, SSI and Medicaid benefits and free or low cost counseling and prescription drugs. This Step Up Florida Seminars will kick off May 1st from 11am to 2pm in English and from 3pm to 6pm for the Hispanic Community with Carlos Reyes as the Keynote speaker.
