Nationally Recognized Attorney Nicholas S. Boebel Joins Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro

Boebel to Support New Intellectual Property Law Practice

MINNEAPOLIS--()--Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP, a complex litigation law firm with offices in ten cities, today announced that Nicholas S. Boebel has joined the firm and will support HBSS’ new intellectual property law practice representing plaintiffs in cases involving patents, copyrights, trade secrets and other aspects of IP law.

Boebel will also support the firm’s newest office in Minneapolis.

Boebel has dedicated his career to representing companies and individuals in highly complex intellectual property cases against some of the nation’s largest companies and has developed a track record of notable victories.

Nicholas S. Boebel graduated cum laude from Carleton College in 1995. In 2000, he graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School where he was a member of the Minnesota Law Review. Boebel completed his training at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. In 2010, he was named a Rising Star by Minnesota Law & Politics in the area of intellectual property litigation.

Boebel’s notable successes include a settlement in a case against Microsoft involving accusations that the software company infringed several patents in every version of Windows from Windows 95 forward. He also represented two entrepreneurs in a case against Fortune 50 company E.I. du Pont that included claims of breach of contract and misappropriation of trade secrets.
