FAIRFIELD, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kyocera Mita America, Inc., one of the world's leading document solutions companies, announces the immediate availability of a dynamic online Managed Document Services (MDS) sales consultant training program to its network of nationwide dealers. Kyocera once again teamed with Steven Powers, founder and president of Sales & Marketing Solutions International (S&MSI), a consulting firm specializing in the document technology sector, to develop a comprehensive online MDS workshop that offers the necessary tools for identifying, developing and implementing a MDS sales strategy across the Dealers’ customer base.
Kyocera’s MDS online training program is designed for the dealer sales professional, providing the same sales strategies, tools and techniques as an in-person workshop led by Steven Power, but allowing them to learn at their own pace and with 24/7 access to the content. In ten self-paced online modules, dealer sales consultants will learn how to identify growth areas and MDS opportunities for existing and new customers, and will learn how to develop and implement successful MDS customer programs. In addition, they will learn:
- Proven go-to-market strategies that will create MDS selling opportunities
- How to conduct initial appointments and assess the print environment
- Tools for developing the executive summary and conducting the consensus meeting
- Methods for developing and presenting a proposal, closing the sale and handling objections
- Proactively managing the account for future sales opportunities
“The ability to identify MDS opportunities requires a specific skill set and deep knowledge that only the best sales consultants have acquired. Kyocera is committed to enabling and supporting dealer sales consultants at its authorized dealerships in their transition to the MDS business model,” said Peter Hendrick, vice president, marketing for Kyocera Mita America. "We've designed this online training program to provide the knowledge and understanding of implementing a MDS selling strategy and we have delivered it in a way to allow us a broad and accelerated reach throughout our channel. At the same time, it allows our channel partners the convenience of ‘learn as you go’ without usurping valuable sales time.”
