Bing Energy, Inc., which recently moved to Tallahassee from Chino Calif., is in partnership with Florida State University to turn revolutionary nanotechnology pioneered at FSU into a better, faster, more economical and commercially viable fuel cell. Bing Energy, Inc. was recently awarded a $1.9 million Qualified Target Industry Tax Refund by Florida Governor Rick Scott’s Office of Tourism, Trade and Economic Development.
nopetro, also headquartered in Tallahassee, is working to build a network of natural gas fueling stations around Florida. nopetro has an ambitious vision to convert a portion of Florida’s heavy truck traffic, municipal trucks and school buses to natural gas.
In other energy-related work, Ron Sachs Communications also worked with the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling over the past year to arrange and staff a series of site visits and stakeholder meetings throughout the five-state, Gulf coast region affected by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
