News 12 Networks Receives Record-Breaking 108 Nominations;
Far More Than Any Other Local News Channels in The Tri-State Area

BETHPAGE, N.Y.--()--The New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences yesterday honored Cablevision Systems Corporation’s (NYSE:CVC) local media services -- News 12 Networks, MSG Varsity and Newsday.com -- with a total of 141 New York Emmy® Award nominations. News 12 Networks received a record-breaking 108 nominations, once again making it the most Emmy-nominated local news organization in the tri-state area. Starting a new tradition of excellence, MSG Varsity received an impressive 32 nominations in its first year. Newsday.com also received a nomination for the second year in a row. The award nominations were announced yesterday at the studios of CUNY-TV in New York City.
