WOODLAND HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--United Online, Inc. (Nasdaq: UNTD), a leading provider of consumer products and services over the Internet, today announced the appointment of Harold Zeitz as President of its Classmates business, effective February 14, 2011, with operating responsibility for its domestic and international business units and reporting directly to Mark R. Goldston, United Online Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Zeitz was most recently Senior Vice President, Core and Specialty Markets at International Game Technology (IGT), a global leader in the design, development and manufacture of gaming machines and systems products, as well as online and mobile gaming solutions for regulated markets.
“I’m thrilled to join the Classmates executive team and work with its brands both domestically and internationally,” said Zeitz. “The company has an impressive track record of success and an exciting vision for the future. I look forward to the opportunities ahead as Classmates.com evolves into the leading provider of nostalgic content on the Internet.”
Prior to IGT, Zeitz served as Chief Operating Officer of the Games Division of RealNetworks and also led the media division. Before joining RealNetworks, Zeitz was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at online brokerage ShareBuilder Corporation, where he oversaw marketing, sales, product development, business development, customer service and technology.
