LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Frontier Silicon, the leading supplier of digital radio and network audio technology, and GEAR4, an iPod® and iPhone audio brand with an emphasis on innovative design, have partnered to develop an Apple App to enable the remote control of the wide range of the features contained in the HouseParty Airwave.
As well as operating as an iPhone/iPod dock, the HouseParty AirWave is a fully featured digital radio and wireless network streaming device. Via the internet radio feature it can wirelessly access over 11,000 live internet radio stations and podcasts from round the world. A UPnP network playback feature allows the user to wirelessly playback music from a server on their home network. It also has crystal clear DAB reception with DLS messages displayed on the unit’s clear white on blue 128x64 pixel display.
