IntoNow and MTV to Deliver New Ways for Fans to Discover and Interact With MTV Shows Jersey Shore and My Life as Liz

First-of-its-kind Jersey Shore exclusive live tagging contest will send a lucky fan and a guest to the season four premiere and party for MTV’s highest rated show of all time

PALO ALTO, Calif.--()--IntoNow, a consumer technology company focused on enhancing the way people engage around television content, today announced a partnership with MTV, a part of Viacom’s MTV Networks (NYSE:VIA) (NYSE:VIA.B), that will provide new ways for fans to interact with their favorite shows. Fans of Jersey Shore will have the chance to win a trip for two to the premiere and party for season four of Jersey Shore. And fans of My Life as Liz will now get an inside look at the favorite television shows of the star, Liz Lee.

Beginning on February 17, 2011, IntoNow users who tag six premiere airings this season of Jersey Shore will be entered for a chance to win a trip for two to the season four premiere which includes travel, hotel accommodations and admission to the season four premiere party.

In addition, viewers of the MTV show My Life as Liz can now connect with Liz Lee, the star of the show. Beginning today, IntoNow users can easily follow and connect with the shows the Texas teen loves. Users can navigate to the Discover feature within IntoNow to quickly access “My List as Liz” to see what shows Liz is into now and follow the up-and-coming reality star’s favorite TV picks.

IntoNow, which launched in late January and is based on SoundPrint, automatically identifies live television content and any previously aired content from the past five years, making it easy and fun for users to engage with their friends around the shows they love. Fans of all MTV shows can now quickly share their favorite shows, discuss with their friends through the IntoNow app as well as other social networking platforms, get recommendations from their friends, and also help others discover new MTV favorites.
