The panel will address questions that could shake the foundations of the dynamic, evolving information security landscape and provide the basis for new strategic relationships and alliances as consolidation in the industry continues. Questions include: 1) What will be the roles of enterprise suites vs. point products, both with respect to security and compliance? 2) To what extent will there be a change in the enterprise buying centers? 3) How will an organization’s overall decision framework be oriented around compliance, security and risk?
Mr. Basani joins other panelists, Marc Maiffret, founder of eEye Digital Security; Hugh Njemanze, CTO and EVP of HP Security at Hewlett-Packard; Amrit Williams, director of emerging security technology at IBM; and Dan Schoenbaum, chief business development officer at Tripwire. Russ Workman, vice president, Investment Banking at America’s Growth Capital, is moderating the session.
Mr. Basani has extensive experience in the industry, including founder of AppIQ, Inc. (acquired by HP) and co-founder of WebManage Technologies, Inc. (acquired by NetApp).
