Clas Ohlson (STO:CLASB)
The Annual General Meeting on 11 September 2010 voted in favour of the Board of Directors’ motion that a nomination process be initiated to select a Nomination Committee. In accordance with the Meeting’s resolution, the Nomination Committee shall comprise the Chairman of the Board and four members representing the four largest registered owners or shareholders known in some other manner. The Haid and Tidstrand families will select one member each to the Nomination Committee.
Prior to the 2011 Annual General Meeting, Clas Ohlson’s Nomination Committee will comprise the following members:
- Anders Moberg, Chairman of the Board of Clas Ohlson AB
- Peter Haid, representing the Haid owner family
- Göran Sundström, representing the Tidstrand owner family
- Lars Öhrstedt, AFA Försäkring (Chairman of Clas Ohlson´s Nomination Comittee)
- Torbjörn Callvik, Skandia Liv
Prior to the next Annual General Meeting, at which the Board of Directors will be elected, the Nomination Committee’s assignment is to present proposals concerning the election of the Chairman of the Board and other Board members, as well as fees and other remuneration for Board assignments to be paid to each of the Board members and the auditor. The Nomination Committee shall also submit proposals concerning the Chairman of the Annual General Meeting.
The composition of the Nomination Committee is based on the owner relationship as of 30 September 2010. About 69 per cent of the total number of company shares (votes) is represented on the Nomination Committee. The above Nomination Committee will serve until a new Nomination Committee has been elected.
The Annual General Meeting will be held at Insjön on 10 September 2011.

Clas Ohlson AB is a Swedish chain store that sells, amongst other things, hardware, electrical, multimedia, and home and leisure products. It is the largest hardware chain in Scandinavia. The company was founded in 1918 by the technically-minded Clas Ohlson (1895–1979), as a mail order business based in the Swedish village of Insjön, Dalarna.
