Educational Sessions, In-Booth Presentations and Product Demonstrations Highlight the Role Technology Can Play In Advancing Classroom Experiences

Texas Computer Educational Association (TCEA) Convention & Exposition

OKEMOS, Mich.--()--TechSmith Corp., announced that it will be offering educational sessions and in-booth presentations during the Texas Computer Educational Association (TCEA) Convention & Exposition next week. These sessions will cover an array of topics and will be lead by educators advancing the use of technology in the classrooms as well as by TechSmith’s product managers. Each session will demonstrate how educators can use TechSmith’s technology in the classroom, including examples of how Jing, Camtasia Studio, Camtasia:Mac and Camtasia Relay can be utilized. Title: Creating Video Tutorials for Free Using TechSmith's Jing!

Speaker: Dr. Roland J. Rios- Fort Sam Houston Independent School District, Texas
Description: This session will show how Jing has proven to be an invaluable classroom instructional strategy, offering a wide range of uses, that many teachers are effectively using to provide students with uninterrupted teacher feedback. Attendees will learn how using Jing can improve instructional strategy and how to implement Jing into the classroom as a way to provide feedback.

Speaker: Melanie Sangalli - MacArthur High School, Texas
Description: The session, “Jing-ing in the Classroom”, is a 50-minute presentation to learn all about Jing, a free image and video capture tool from the makers of Camtasia. This is a must have for teachers and trainers. Attendees will learn how to provide students with uninterrupted teacher feedback and how to use Jing as an image and video capture tool.
