BOSTON & SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--M/C Venture Partners, a venture capital firm focused on the communications, media, and information technology services sectors, announced that Lydia Jett has been promoted to the position of Vice President from Senior Associate.
In her new role, Lydia will be responsible for all aspects of sourcing and managing investments in the media and communications industry segments and will continue to work to extend M/C Venture Partners’ strong, 25-year franchise.

Lydia joined M/C Venture Partners in 2009. Her prior experience includes J. P. Morgan Securities, where she served in Syndicated and Leveraged Finance as an Analyst in Telecom, Media and Technology; Goldman, Sachs & Co., where she was an Analyst in the Merchant Banking Division, focused primarily on media and education investments; and Corporate Development for Metro Goldwyn Mayer, where she focused on digital media.
Lydia is a 2009 graduate of the Stanford Graduate School of Business where she received her MBA. She earned a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Smith College with a double major in Economics and Government, and is a graduate of the General Course, Economics and Government, at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Ms. Jett is actively involved with the Aspen Institute and the Stanford Graduate School of Business Women’s Initiative Network (WIN), an organization dedicated to supporting women in business.
