SOLNA, Sweden--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Regulatory News:
Since February 2010, the Norwegian Competition Authority has been conducting an investigation into possible price collusion in the asphalt industry in the Trondheim region. The companies under suspicion include Kolo Veidekke and NCC Roads AS. NCC (STO:NCCA)(STO:NCCB) is cooperating with the authorities in the investigation of the matter.
The information that has emerged in recent days indicates that price collusion may have taken place, which is entirely contrary to NCC’s values and approach to conducting business.
“NCC strongly condemns all forms of breaches of competition legislation. Accordingly, we are working with the Norwegian Competition Authority to find out what has occurred as soon as possible,” says Håkan Broman, General Counsel at NCC.
The information is such that NCC AB is obligated to publish pursuant to the Securities Market Act. The information was submitted for publication on January 28, 2011 at 2 p.m. CET.
All of NCC’s press releases are available on www.ncc.se
NCC is one of the leading construction and property development companies in the Nordic region. NCC had sales of SEK 52 billion in 2009, with 18,000 employees
