NFL Alumni and Experience Nutrition Join Forces at Super Bowl XLV with New Health and Wellness Program

NEWARK, N.J.--()--The NFL Alumni has named EXPERIENCE NUTRITION, an interactive nutrition company based in Phoenix, Ariz., as its first official health and wellness partner. The partnership is in-line with NFL Alumni’s mission to help enhance the health and wellness of retired NFL players and their families.

“We are proud to team up with EXPERIENCE NUTRITION and we believe the seminars, books, videos, and healthy food products offered will positively change the lives of the NFL alumni and their families,” said NFL Alumni Executive Director and President George Martin.

The partnership will also include a new diet and nutrition blog on the NFL Alumni website and many events with the NFL Alumni leading up to Super Bowl XLV in Dallas, including the Super Bowl XLV Sanctioned Player Networking Event and Player of the Year Awards Dinner.

“This year during Super Bowl week, EXPERIENCE NUTRITION will focus on the topic of healthy fats, which are so important for people who suffer from joint pain,” said founder and CEO of EXPERIENCE NUTRITION Melanie Albert. “The former players will learn why good fats are beneficial for their diet and will experience how to prepare wild Alaskan salmon with sides of raw kale salad and a quick and easy roots and greens vegetable stir-fry — created by NFL veteran quarterback, Dave Krieg.”

Through the partnership, EXPERIENCE NUTRITION will educate current and former professional athletes and the sports fan community to enjoy foods and enjoy life. With a “9 Ways to Enjoy Life” coaching team the former players will learn sound nutrition and lifestyle, including how to shop, cook and prepare simple healthy meals full of flavor. They will then become spokespeople for their fans and help raise awareness about the role of diet in overall health.
