TAINAN, Taiwan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vice-President Bih-Ching Shu for Student Affairs at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Tainan, Taiwan, who always stresses the spirit of caring, has expressed her farewell sentiments on January 19th and revealed two recently designed logos.
Vice-President Bih-Ching Shu said she expected colleagues to play the role of small screws and offer the best care for students and she also encouraged the Office of Student Affairs to act as the trunk of NCKU banyan trees to nourish the leaves, the students.
Vice-President Bih-Ching Shu mentioned, “Acting as a small screw of the large NCKU engine, a staff member from the Housing Service Division, Office of Student Affairs, has dedicated himself to his work. As a role model for others, his commitment is witnessed by the Office of Student Affairs and also observed by the faculty and staff at the NCKU campus.”
The design concept of the first logo is based on phoenix flowers with the word “learning,” and beneath the word, there is an image of “people,” symbolizing human spirit and emphasizing the caring spirit of the Office of Student Affairs.
The design concept of the second logo is based on NCKU banyan trees, in which each leaf embodies a hope, each branch symbolizes one division and the Office of Student Affairs acts as the trunk which nourishes the leaves.
