MedImpact Hosts Groundbreaking Ceremony at Site of New Corporate Headquarters
Event Celebrates the Company’s Achievements and Continued Commitment to Customer Service Excellence
SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MedImpact celebrated its successes and prepared for its future during a groundbreaking ceremony held today at the site of the company’s future corporate headquarters. The new facility is being built in the Scripps Ranch area of San Diego and is slated to open in April 2010.
The festivities were led by Fred Howe, president, CEO and founder of MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc., along with the MedImpact senior leadership team. “Our current headquarters has served us well, and we look forward to continuing our growth and presence as an employer of choice in the San Diego community,” said Howe.
The future home of MedImpact is located at Interstate 15 and Mercy Road / Scripps Poway Parkway in San Diego. The site will house two separate multi-story buildings with a total of 320,000 square feet of space. The new facilities are part of a multi-building development.
“In keeping with MedImpact’s environmental initiatives, the entire campus is designed to silver LEED certification standards,” said Jerry Parker, senior vice president of operations for MedImpact. “The design incorporates ‘green’ building features that promote water savings, energy efficiency and indoor environmental quality,” Parker continued.
“Today’s groundbreaking ceremony is a celebration of MedImpact’s accomplishments that we’ve achieved by growing one client at a time, and of the continuing growth and success we achieve by delivering service excellence to each of our clients,” said Dale Brown, senior vice president for MedImpact. “With the dedication our employees demonstrate each and every day, we have been able to consistently meet and exceed the expectations of the 30 million individuals we serve.”
