TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Toshiba Corporation (TOKYO:6502) today announced that it will showcase a microUSB adaptor module supporting the TransferJetTM close proximity wireless technology standard in the TransferJetTM Consortium Booth (Hall 7/Booth 7C64) at the Mobile World Congress 2013 (MWC 2013), to be held from February 25 to 28 in Barcelona, Spain.
Data transfer using TransferJetTM communication can be implemented in AndroidTM devices[1] with a micro USB port, such as smartphones and tablets, using the microUSB adaptor module and a newly developed app for AndroidTM devices. At MWC 2013, Toshiba will demonstrate data exchanges between a smartphone and a tablet.
